What the heck is going on? First, Donna Summer....now Robin Gibb.
RIP Mr. Gibb. Thanks for all the great music
Robin Gibb, singer with the legendary British band the Bee Gees, died on Sunday aged 62 after a lengthy battle against cancer, his family said.
Barry, Maurice and Robin Gibb scaled the heights of the pop world in the 1970s with disco hits including "How Deep Is Your Love", "Stayin' Alive", and "Night Fever".
The band notched up record sales of more than 200 million since their first hits in the 1960s.
RIP Mr. Gibb. Thanks for all the great music

Two big disco stars in less than a week! Although the Bee Gee's had some excellent non disco music in the '60s and early '70's. Very talented group of brothers!
RIP Robin!Carl -
RIP
I was never a fan of their disco stuff (or disco in general for that matter). However, I really do like some of their ballads, such as How Can You Mend a Broken Heart or I Started a Joke. -
RIP Robin - Its too bad that the disco stuff is what he/they (The Bee Gees) will be remembered for. They had a lot of other songs and wrote a lot of tunes for other artists.

Loved their music before they became gods of disco. They did an album in the late 60's (I think) called Odessa that's brilliant.

The Bee Gees had some great music after their disco phase too. "You Win Again" was a monster hit single around the world in the late 80s, but was never released in the US. "One" was a great single that returned the group to the top 10 in the US. "Still Waters" was a platinum selling album in the US in the late 1990s. The last studio studio album with the Bee Gees as a trio was "This Is Where I Came In" was also great sounding album. -
Donna Summer, Robin Gibb.....very eerie indeed, as these things happen in 3's, who could be next?
