Just to add, our new currency uses some of the newest and coolest technology integrated into a bill.

    - You can submerse them in water or wash them and they are crisp and dry to the touch. They are water proof.
    - Made of Polymer (plastic), not paper.
    - You can try to rip it apart but you can't tear them. Unreal the strength. I can try to pull each end as hard as I like and I can't rip the bill.
    - Incorporates a translucent section in between colored areas.
    - Highly impossible to reproduce due to security measures used on the bills.
    - Cheaper to manufacture then paper bills.

They are also changing our coins to be lighter as well. Our $1 coins feel like a paper clip now.

You can't get much lighter than "cheap plastic" coins!

There are countries that have been using the polymer banknotes for years. When I was in Romania it was nice using bills that weren't torn, wrinkled, and didn't give off that **** smell like the paper bills here

Well, sure put's this scenario in the Crapper !! No John, I am NOT the author !

"Two men are occupying booths in a public restroom, when one calls to the other,

"There is no toilet paper over here--do you have any over there?"

The second man replies, "No, sorry, I don't seem to have any, either."

The first man then asks, "Well, do you have a magazine or newspaper?"

The second man says, "No, sorry!"

The first man pauses, then inquires, "Do you have change for a twenty?"
