I haven't ordered the cardas binding posts yet. For a temp but effective quick upgrade i got a double sided binding post plate from home depot. It's in the home audio section. You just unscrew it from the plate, drill a hole in the Polk binding post area next to the sda jack, screw it back through and seal it. Then I just snipped off the sda wire connected to the pin portion and clamped it down in the inside. No soldering needed! Then I took 14 gauge speaker wire and capped each end off with banana plugs, one for each end. The negative and positive together so you have a bigger wire.
The plate you get from home depot or wherever usually has more than one binding post but you only need two. So one package is more than enough.

This is about what I purchased:

This was just a temp job until I could get around to doing the nicer soldered job, but as it is in place and working fine I'm not in a hurry to change it. I used some silicon to seal the post in which is easily removable later. I also put a dab in the old sda jack to keep it airtight.
You can get one made for you as well but bypassing the stock jack was easy enough. Try to get a good banana plug, you Only need two, one pair. They have them with screws so you don't have to solder those either. I used heat shrink wrap to make it more stable. Radio shed has them but so did home depot in the electric section. I'm limited in key west on stores available. I do online shopping but Home depot was quick and cheap. They have decent speaker wire, but get the fattest you can.Polk Audio SDA CRS+ crossover 4.1TL by Trey/VR3 (Rings and custom stand by Larry)-Polk Audio SDA SRS2 crossovers by Trey/VR3Parasound HCA1500aYamaha rxa-3070 with musicast-Celestion SL6S presence,- sl9 surround backNHTsuper1's surroundMagnepan SMGParasound 1500pre- Sofia "Baby" tube amp - Monitor Audio Silver RX2 Marantz 2230/B&Kst140Technics 1200mk2 Gamertag: IslandBerserker I am but a infinitesimally small point meeting the line of infinity in the SDA universe -

Thanks for the info Evhudsons, not sure I'm up to the task. Don't want to mess the speakers up. I'll keep looking at the info to see if I can figure it all out!Main Rig:

I misplaced my cable when I moved. Made a new one it was easy using links provided. Then I found my original. Try it!

At the least you can take speaker wire and twist it into the pin portion of each speaker until you figure it out.Polk Audio SDA CRS+ crossover 4.1TL by Trey/VR3 (Rings and custom stand by Larry)-Polk Audio SDA SRS2 crossovers by Trey/VR3Parasound HCA1500aYamaha rxa-3070 with musicast-Celestion SL6S presence,- sl9 surround backNHTsuper1's surroundMagnepan SMGParasound 1500pre- Sofia "Baby" tube amp - Monitor Audio Silver RX2 Marantz 2230/B&Kst140Technics 1200mk2 Gamertag: IslandBerserker I am but a infinitesimally small point meeting the line of infinity in the SDA universe
