I'm wanting to get a good power cord for my Denon 3910 and one for maybe my 2800. I was hoping for one under $100 if possible, anyone you've used and liked:)

By the way, I haven't been on a while, how's everybody doing?

PM Pepster, he seems to make some pretty good ones to whatever length you need from what I hear.

You could go the DIY route, or a polkie-build, or Signal Cable---lots options.

I find Pangea's AC-9's to be a great bang for the buck. They are a tad on the warm side of the fence.

I definitely agree with BlueFox on this, but if you have any local dealers check their prices first. I picked mine up at a local shop for $99. Pangea also makes some very nice cables for the price. Can't go wrong with either one IMO.

I've had great luck with the Pangea cords also, especially the AC-14SE on my Pre and AC-9SE on my amp.

A little more expensive, but the Wireworld Aurora is fantastic for the money.

oh yeah they work, they're just Huge... I think the 3910 insulation is as big as 2 awg lol I'm sure the wires are 12 or 10. Very stiff. the 2800 isn't nearly as big though.

I don't know guys, i've thought about making my own but the Pangea is probably what I may get, or those Rick Cullen ones. We'll see, I'll go on Audioadvisor tonight and look at their stuff, Sounds like Pangea is a good brand from the replies I've gotten so far. Thank you all so much!!!

they have 6 gauge wire at Lowe's too;) I got some 2 gauge the other day lol

Naw but seriously it's not size that matters even though 12 would be nice and all it's the substance and umph that counts.

Looks and better sound, something that is flexible too. The cord that came with the 3910 is extremely stubborn:(

I'm pretty sure it refers to "snake oil"...

With that, I've been happy with the Signal power cords on my Parasound (MagicPower) and Dared (MagicPower Digital) in my 2ch system.

PS Audio or Shunyata for my money. No snake oil, just excellent cords.

Dang, Shunyata's definitely got the Snake look to them, hence the names of the cords.
How much does one of their cords cost? Do they have a price list? I didn't see on their site.
