Has anyone ever had to wait a long time on a buyer paying on Ebay?

Can't you just figure this out yourself? Then maybe tell us the story when there actually is a story...

That reply is a bit far fetched I think

Sure if you cant pay straight away but people know when auctions end and there is little excuses to be had for leaving it longer than 24 hours. To expect any reply is reasonable dont you think ? It Saturday too so its not like the person is working a 36 hour shift over the weekend unless he is living in Taiwan

Just think of the moronic posts we'll be subjected to when PayPal puts a hold on his payment until the item is delivered and the buyer is satisfied.

That's assuming he even gets back to me

I would not say I'm a bad seller? I have many members here who have purchased stuff without incident and I have bought quite a few things here on the forum. I have however miscalculated shipping on several items and paid the difference myself. Only problem I have had is with one member who received a defective item and was issued a refund. I'm sure everyone here knows who that is that constantly moans about it in every thread and stalks my posts like a creepy freak

You couldn't sell me ice water in hell if you were giving it away free with a free Columbian hooker.

Here is the actual text of a message I just received from the ebay seller of a HD pressure washer I just bought. Not everyone is obsessed with their ebay activity and........sometimes, forget entirely !

    Hello
I'm sorry that i'm just getting back to you. To be honest I had totally forgotten that this pressure washer was still listed. Was getting on here to take it off the listing when I saw that you had purchased it. Anyway, I do still have it but something has gone wrong with the nozzle end so I am going to refund the money back to you but I will call you this afternoon after I go over it. And if you still want it you can come down and just bring the cash with you. Thanks

You guys are a tad rough on PFB, give the dude a break, he's new to all this online B.S. of buying and selling. If anything, you guys with experience should help the man avoid the pitfalls of ebay or online transactions in general. I'm sure I can scare up a few threads of when some of us got our knickers all twisted over an online buyer or seller.

    PFB,
I would hope before you buy or sell anything from an online site such as Ebay or Audiogon, that you completely read the rules for such before hand, and understand them. If not, just ask, we have many here that have come to know the pitfalls and processes of online retailing.
