Distortion on RC80i Ceiling Speaker

Hi,
I have a set of these installed in a kitchen and noticed that one of the speakers is exhibiting quite a lot of distortion at all volumes and with all types of music. I've swapped the speakers round and the problem persists in this one speaker, the other one of the pair is fine. If I gently hold the cone of the affected speaker, the distortion stops so I'm guessing it's a badly aligned cone.
Unfortunately as I'm from the UK, but purchased the speakers in the US, I'm finding it difficult to get any help from Polk Audio direct. So far they haven't responded to my email request sent last week. I've emailed them again today.
Out of interest has anyone else experienced this with these speakers and is there anything I can do to fix the problem myself or is a replacement the only option?
Thanks in advance for any help or advice.

I'd give them a call instead of sending emails. It's easier and much faster.
