Pioneer Elite BDP-52/53 Denon BDP-1611

I've got a "Wanted" ad going right now for an Oppo 83 or similar, but haven't received much feedback. I have about $125 worth of Best Buy Reward points so I decided to check out what Magnolia had to offer. These appear to be the three that would work for me as I want Blu-ray, SACD, and DVD-A playback.

So, which one would you choose and why?

Mantis did a review on the Pioneer, look up the thread for some insight. In general, he seemed somewhat disappointed in it. Have you checked out Audiogon ?

I'd check out the Denon and forget about the Pioneer. Mine died in a weekend and I had 3 others at the shop come back for the same reason. Over at AVS forums , many people are having all kinds of issues with the Pioneer player. Shame as I waited a long time for Pioneer to release a Universal Blu ray player. I Installed one Denon and it was nice , fast and completely discrete out of the box. I didn't notice any issues but I only spent about an hour with it.

After further review, none of these will work for me as they don't have 7.1 analog outs.

I saw that Oppo on a-gon. I was hoping to find an 83 for around $300 or so, but that may not happen. I may just have to break down and go with the 93...which wouldn't be a bad thing of course.
