$300 -- DSWPRO 550wi

$330.00 -- Klipsch Reference RW-12d


Which should I get? Or do you have a better suggestion in the 300-400$ range?'


I can also get a PSW505 for $150 which seems like a really good deal. What should I do!!?

    505 vs the 550 for sure, especially if you can get the cherry.

    Home theater or music? If music, go w the Klipsch, but better stay away from ported subs altogether.

    I have been looking for a decent sealed sub in exactly the same price range (that's my comfort zone) and there is nothing really. You have to go higher.. or live with a ported sub.

    DSW 660 is really the true competitor of that Klipsch because it hits lower than the 505 and the 550.

    I'd take the 660 over it. But regarding the other two Polk subs that's a tough call because the Klipsch does match up with those, no problem. The only real complaint about that Klipsch is possible "port" noise by some, not all users. It's MSRP is more than the 505 and the 550?

    Yeah.. they usually run the Polk speaker deals on the weekends, so if you miss it this time around don't worry it will most likely be back ... But that is a really good price for the 660... I would snatch that up over the other ones
