I have a LC-70LE845U Sharp TV and would like to plug it into my power conditioner but the the cord dont reach so I just have it plugged into the recessed outlet behind the TV. I called sharp and they said they do not make a longer cord for it. I am just wondering if any af you know where I could get one or what my next best option is besides an extension cord.

What does the TV end of the cable look like?"He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche

Basically you need a in wall extension cord. What us professionals use is something like this.

Basically you have a outlet behind the tv in a double gang with your low voltage side for HDMI , Cat 5 , etc. The High voltage is in a electrical box while the low voltage side is in a low voltage ring.
In the wall you have romex wire 14/2 or 12/2 15 amp or 20 amp. At the gear or head end side you have this setup again but a male end for a extension cord to be plugged into so you can protect your tv with your nice surge that protects all of your gear.
You can't just put a extension cord in the wall , they are not CL2 or CL3 rated for in wall use. If you have a fire , this will void your home owners insurance. Using a in wall power kit is a closet circuit and safe and rated to be in wall as Romex is used.Dan
