Any interest in a Kenwood KM-Z1?

6 x 130wpc at 0.02%THD 8 ohms - ALL CHANNELS DRIVEN! It's THX certified, weighs 53 lbs. I've owned it for years and never had an issue. Clean power and cheap. Originally used it with the Kenwood THX controller, back when subs were all passive, (thus the 6th channel) and used with the whole THX certified Kenwood package of mains, subs and surrounds. I've long since sold all the other pieces, but kept the amp to use in my whole house audio system. Took it out when a local Polkie said he wanted it but backed out. In my closet for a year or so but works fine. I even have the original manual. Cosmetically its probably 8/10, but, did I mention cheap?

Sounds as good as the XPA-5 I had for a while (I did an A-B test for fun).

I say cheap, as in $150 plus shipping. I have amps running out my ears and could use the space.

I have heard this amp and it actually doesnt sound as bad as people might think. If anyone wants a cheap way to bi amp your speakers, with a decent sounding amp, this would do the trick.

PM Sent; waiting on original poster in WTB section to decide. Then I will see if it fits the bill for my brother's budget set-up.

Is it stable at 4 ohms? I could not find any specs on the web.

If its THX certified then yes, it should be stable down to 3.2 ohms I believe.

The manual does not address 4 ohms but states 150 wpc at 6 ohms, 20Hz to 20kHz at 0.02%THD.
