Not only did we break the old record for today, but we broke 100 in Tucson for the first time this year. I've never seen it 100 this early (2nd earliest on record), I hope this isn't an indication of things to come this summer.
My equipment sig felt inadequate and deleted itself.

I think it's just strange weather this year. We had 5 days straight of 85+ weather here in northern Michigan, in the middle of March, normally in the 30's to low 40's. But it's been about 20 degrees below normal for the last two weeks.

One warm day (in ARIZONA, for goodness sake) does not global warming make.

Yep, and here in Houston where it is usually quite warm this time of year, it has been surprisingly cool the last few nights. Mind you, this is after some fairly hot weeks. Just weird weather...

Or one cold day in Florida. Weather has patterns, think El Nino. The earth has weather patterns along with an orbit that changes, the sun has patterns, ice will come and ice will melt. Oceans will rise and oceans will fall. But somehow, those pig farts in Idaho are partially to blame and sending my money to a bunch of 'crats....why, that will bring stable weather patterns back. LOL.

Anyway, after a warmer than normal March, April here in Chicago is about normal. I see the east is getting some heavy duty rain and even snow in some area's. Those flowers must be doing an Anne Henche impersonation..."I'm in, I'm out...I'm in, I'm out. "

It was just 92 deg a week ago , then steady 70's and 80's , now it rainy with a high in the 50's all week breaking into the 60's a few times. I was in shorts and a T shirt now pants and a hoodie.

We had a dusting of snow this winter once. We usually get a few good snow storms , at least one over a foot. Not this year.

My son just left to move to Phoenix this morning. After seeing the weather report we both agreed he needs to take his time with the drive.

Low of 36 degrees here in "Hotlanta". Wrap your mind around that.
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

Man, I've been in Phoenix in August....like a blowdryer in your face. People come out in the early morning, then you see little of them by noon. I dig that town anyway, they have come along way over the years and now have some damn good Italian eats out there.

Actually, Phoenix is a good example of how people adjust to weather. Deliveries are done in the off hours, Almost every car has those cardboard sun shades and no leather interior. Dogs get walked in the morning or at night. Just a few examples, but the people of Phoenix adjust, adapt, and still have a thriving community. The people of other area's would also adapt if weather patterns changed to something they were unacustomed to. Maybe one part of the country will become useless for certain crops, but other area's will open up too for more crop variety. Humans in general adapt very well to their surroundings and flourish.

What a nice thing to say about people. I was gonna blame it on cow farts or big stereos using to much power, you know who you are. Was Al Gore right? We'll take internet inventors for 1000.

You know it's bad when you have a full face helmet cruising down the street and you have to CLOSE your shield because it's cooler when the wind is NOT blowing in your face...

Crazy stuff huh? Here in mid Mi it was like that too. We had high 70's one day and barely breaking 30 the next.
