Avia vs. DVE calibration dvds

I figured it is time to actually buy one of these for my PJ....anyone recommend or use the following?

DVE was a bit better but not by much... -
If you're just doing video, either will do. If you're doing audio too, avoid DVE like the plague. The test tones aren't digitally correct.Equipment list:

DVE was a bit better but not by much...
I just received the Avia DVD and gave it a try...what was your take / experience adjusting the CONTRAST? I found the explanation and test pattern for contrast very....subjective....if that makes sense. All the other standard settings so far were pretty easy to determine, but not contrast.... -
You can also just google search for some pro settings. Sometimes pro techs will list certain TV's settings that they normally would use or have used. Did that with mine and they were pretty spot on.HT SYSTEM-
