Contemplating moving up to a Csi A6 from my current Csi A4. However measurments are a concern since I will have to raise my TV a few inches and I dont want to block or alter my custom shelves I built t hat much. My question what is the height on the A6 7 inches from the back edge? Basicaly the midpoint of the cabinet.
TIA.

If I am able to do this configuration the center will be directly below the TV and the tweeter will be closer in height to the A7 tweeters. Currently the A4 is on a shelf in the TV stand with the channel angled up. The move would push the tweeter vertically approx 12.5 inches. I am hoping if I can reconfigure the setup things will sound even better, however I know its possible the sound difference might be neglegible.

What do you expect the A6 to do better than the A4? I have the A7s with A6 but now I'm thinking i could have saved some money and gotten 2xA5 + A4 instead without losing anything, possibly even be better off. All these big woofers are not much good without amp, (1) and kinda redundant if you have a good sub (2). If you feed all of this via receiver, which I do, I could have been better off leaving all of the lower range to the subwoofer and better feeding the A5s and the A4..

I have found that tube based computers provide the best sound quality. ENIAC and MANIAC I offer a smooth, well defined and articulated sound unmatched by the current silicon based CPUs.
But as in all things your perception is your reality.

I have the RTi A7's with the CSi A6 and they sound great together. I was going to get the A4 until I heard the A6...had to have the A6. I'm driving all these with just a Yamaha RX A-810 with no problems, no amp necessary in my setup!

So how damn good is that sub?...thinking about getting one.

    A6 measures 7 3/4" H x 24" W x 14" D

I know the full dimensions but i need to know the mid point height for my setup. The HSU is awsome, one of my best audio investments.

Mid point they are 7" tall and that's from the back of the port plate to center (7").

The A6 is much fuller than the A4! Here's some pic's of both side by side I got from other poster.
