No, that's not bi-amping.
Much better. In lieu of the mic, you can use an SPL meter.Political Correctness'.........defined

I think i have them bi amped but im not sure. i did what i said in the original post. I removed the gold things from the back of the rti 150 that link the 2 terminals together. I then connected a wire from speaker set A right speaker out to the bottom connections. then ran another wire from speaker set B right to the top terminals connection. On the reciver i played with it by starting with both sets A and B off then turning on A then B the top terminal set seems like it was for highs and the bottom was for the bass. It seems like it worked and was pretty loud. i didnt have enough wire so i just used my left fronts wire. so now i gotta decide if i like it so i can buy a few more feet of wire. -
I understand what you have done and it is NOT bi-amping. What you have done is basically bi-wiring.
Instead of bi-anything try this, connect the speaker set A to the bottom posts of the speakers. Then use a short piece of the speaker cable to replace the stock jumpers connecting the top and bottom posts. Done, relax and enjoy.Political Correctness'.........defined

i dont see how that would be better, but then i might be wrong but having them bi wired they seem to sound better and louder!I understand what you have done and it is NOT bi-amping. What you have done is basically bi-wiring.

When biamping with an AVR all you are doing is stretching across the same amplifier source
So its not biamping, hence the prefix bi=22-channel: Modwright KWI-200 Integrated, Dynaudio C1-II Signatures
Desktop rig: LSi7, Polk 110sub, Dayens Ampino amp, W4S DAC/pre, Sonos, JRiver
Gear on standby: Melody 101 tube pre, Unison Research Simply Italy Integrated
Gone to new homes: (Matt Polk's)Threshold Stasis SA12e monoblocks, Pass XA30.5 amp, Usher MD2 speakers, Dynaudio C4 platinum speakers, Modwright LS100 (voltz), Simaudio 780D DAC

Well, you only have one speaker sort of bi-wired, which you thought was bi-amping and since you said you needed to buy more speaker wire the method I suggested will get you the same result without having to buy more cable. It may even sound better than the sort of bi-wiring as you'll have a lot less speaker cable exposed to picking up RF/EMI.Political Correctness'.........defined
