Going passive was one of those "ah-ha" moments for me, It would take a mighty good active pre to unseat my Placette.

I have a little CI Audio TVC2 I keep going back to....it just works with what I got. clean and straight forward is the best way i describe it.
I recently put it bak in the mix over the Anthem pre2l and I love it. Steve mentioned synergy being important and he couldn't be more right. passives are not always better but when they are with a particular rig, then thats how you go.Living Room 2 Channel -
