Canton Vento 830.2
Anybody heard this speaker? I got a chance to demo it this week, and fell in love. Actually, I think I heard its little brother, the 820. Bass was very solid, highs were semi laid back, but could sparkle. The imaging is what got me, these suckers through off a massive soundstage, and they were poorly set up. I enjoyed them much more then the DT and MK offerings they also had. They may be my next speaker, if I decide to stay with a bookshelf. Just looking for others input...

I have always liked Canton speakers. They have a very no frills sound. Not to much of anything just good sound.
I have heard the 820's and agree the soundstage was quite large for such a small speaker. Sounded better than any other bookie they had. -
I purchased the Canton Vento 830.2....excellent speaker.

Very nice, pics are in order. These bookies impressed me with depth, and soundstage. I'm sure they would have sounded better in a better setup, they we're running them off of a Dennon AVR IIRC. Plus placement wasnt great, they we're on a shelf along with about 5 other bookies, but these stood out. -

Are you going to get a pair? -
They are on my list, but it'll be next year. I'd like to have my 9's modded and live with them for awhile. Those are great looking speakers.

these are beautiful. awe.I have found that tube based computers provide the best sound quality. ENIAC and MANIAC I offer a smooth, well defined and articulated sound unmatched by the current silicon based CPUs.jeremymarcinko wrote: »But as in all things your perception is your reality.

Thanks fellas...the sound even better. Love the midrange. And believe me...they look better in person.
