Trouble with Polk Audio Surround Bar SDA

Bought it...Hooked it up...worked great for about five minutes...Now i just get a constant high pitch noise from the soundbar. Tried different stereo cables, same thing. It is hooked up to my tv through a toslink/stereo converter. It makes the noise even if it is not hooked up to anything. I.E. just plugged into the wall and turned on. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks for posting on Polk's forum. I'm sorry you're having a problem with the SurroundBar. If it's just making noise without being connected to anything then it has a definite problem. It would be best to contact Polk's CS department either by phone at 1-800-377-7655 or via email at polkcs@polkaudio.com. I'm sure they can be of help.
