B&K is very sterile sounding in comparison to Parasound which I would say is a warmer sound...
Comparable quality, depends on your taste- Not Tom ::::::: Any system can play Diana Krall. Only the best can play Limp Bizkit. -
Thanks guys ..still debating whether I should move on from Parasound and try something different.

Try a HiFi Tunning Supreme or Silver Star fuse on the main line fuse on the Parasound , I did this on Halo A21 with very positive results! Just to get a hint of what a fuse upgrade can do , if you have some Caig progold around clean the stock fuse ends and polish to a shine. I couldn't believe the impact of just cleaning it, needless to say I cleaned every fuse I have in my setup and replaced the one's in my prepro as well! -

Seriously, I think you have your wires crossed. I would so say the Para is more sterile than the B&K.
It is a pretty lateral move though. -
Lateral in that you might not notice a significant improvement. But trying all different kinds of gear (especially when used prices are involved) is how you get to know what attributes you like and don't like. So you might just want to try it out especially if you can flip either one for little to no loss.
H9"Appreciation of audio is a completely subjective human experience. Measurements can provide a measure of insight, but are no substitute for human judgment. Why are we looking to reduce a subjective experience to objective criteria anyway? The subtleties of music and audio reproduction are for those who appreciate it. Differentiation by numbers is for those who do not".--Nelson Pass Pass Labs XA25 | EE Avant Pre | EE Mini Max Supreme DAC | MIT Shotgun S1 | Pangea AC14SE MKII | Legend L600 | BlueSound Node 3 - Tubes add soul! -

That's what I thought. In fact, I just pulled a trigger on B&K 200.1 S2 for $900 plus shipping. Will try them out then decide which one I should keep.
