I'd buy one of vvvTHESEvvv, and drive it around Berkeley, CA, having Big & Rich or Blake Shelton cranking over the loud speakers.

I do love Top Gear UK. You would never see them doing such expensive and dangerous silliness on American TV. The underwriters would never allow it. But when did Hammond get James May's haircut??

I'd donate to animal shelters, homeless shelters, etc. Also I'd donate to get music/art education back to our public schools. Maybe funding a programs where school kids can visit places of interests.

I will donate money and equipment to senior centers so that our senior citizens can have high quality audio/video entertainment.

I will definitely get the best medical care for my mom, who is suffering from dementia and other medical issues. I will move to a new house....nothing too big, but I do want some open space, where my Old English Sheepdog can run all he wants. Inside the house, I will have a dedicated media room with my favorite components, which aren't always the most expensive ones....even though I can afford them now. Definitely a separate headphone system and a dedicated 2 channel system.

I don't need the biggest/fastest car, so a couple of Mercedes or BMW will be fine. Ok, maybe a Porsche 911 too. And the first new Acura NSX.

    Jackpot is now 540,000,000.00

The largest ever jackpot in the world!

I suppose I could buy my fellow polkies a set of LSiM 707's (must be members in good standing for more than one year, have more than 250 posts and not be on the ignore list.)

Great minds think alike! My thoughts exactly. Free LSiMS for all of you. Helps Polk, helps Polkies, helps the economy....some!

Then I would endow the Githens foundation with a very healthy trust fund!

After that I'd put my money where my mouth was and start a business that would employ as many as possible and be "co-owned" by the workers on a share of profits basis (sorry boys, but I think that's 'best'). In other words I'd become a "real" job-creator. Oh, and one who pays a little "more" in taxes than is required of him with "full" benefits for workers. I would keep Administrative "types" to a minimum and rely more on the leaders 'on-the floor'! lol Put aside ideology and "do the right thing"! Maybe some other heinous types, might learn a something, or "not" from this.

Of course, I'd rely on my Polk brethren to keep my "honest" (above) through input and discussion.

But, of course it's all moot, because it """"ain't gonna happen"""", so to any of you who might, perchance, win. Think about these things and "more"!

And good luck to you all!

You know whats funny about this whole Powerball craze going on, everyone in the friggin universe is throwin down $$$ to buy tickets who otherwise NEVER buy tickets any other time. Like winning $15 - $20 million is not worth their time.

For the record...NO, I did not buy any tickets.
    No excuses!

Maybe because they know the chances of them winning is 175 million to 1, and the odds dont change no matter what the amount is, so it's only worth it to do a handful of times a year when the jackpot is outrageous.

That type of money would leave alot to help mankind!
I would definitely help as many locally with jobs created.
    TONS O JOBS!

A man could do ALOT of good with that kind of money.
I get the feeling that most would not help.
Personally, I would help the local population, and fire up some businesses' that would employe them with all the benefits of yesteryear (100% DENTAL, MEDICAL, ECT)..
