Spending everybody's money today, Steve."Appreciation of audio is a completely subjective human experience. Measurements can provide a measure of insight, but are no substitute for human judgment. Why are we looking to reduce a subjective experience to objective criteria anyway? Your wireless router (which is hooked to your computer via ethernet cable) to the SQB---> to dac via coax--->to preamp via very good analog rca's. Simple really, really simple."Appreciation of audio is a completely subjective human experience. Measurements can provide a measure of insight, but are no substitute for human judgment. With J. River, it will pre-load the music into your RAM, so it's not playing from the drive. As mentioned above, it's also an all in one program, rips, organizes, tags, and does playback. The demo version is free.

And easily configured for bit perfect output, atleast I found with Vista and W7.
The OP is running XP. When I ran XP it was more involved, but I didn't run J River.

It's many one or two more clicks with XP compared to 7x64."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche
