Tweeters on db6501 are not working

I have four db6501 components in my party bus running on a four channel Rockford Fosgate amplifier (100 watts RMS per channel). A co-owner of the bus used the bus this weekend and now all four tweeters aren't working. The specs from the Polk site say that there is an "electronic tweeter protection circuit" built into the crossover. Since all four tweeters went dead at the same time, could that circuit be "tripped", and if so, is there a way to reset it? Any advice would be appreciated. If I get no response, I will ship them to Polk for an analysis of the problem (if I do this, do I just need to send the tweeters, or the entire speaker setup? The Mid/Woofers are working fine). Thanks.

This is really peculiar. Immediately when I hear that tweeters aren't working I think about the crossover networks. Sometimes a part of the crossover comes lose like a capacitor which will prevent a component from working. However, what are the chances that all 4 crossovers go out on the same day? My guess is that because all 4 aren't working, he turned up the system too loud and blew all of them. If you have access to a spare tweeter you could hook it up. If the tweeter sounds all right then the crossovers are fine and the tweeters were blown. If not you know it is the crossover.Audison Bit Ten
