Very nice room! I love the trophy!

You definitely have potential to bring the ledge out to accommodate the larger speakers.

I'm with Tony, that wall looks like it would be ideal, and since you and your wife like to exchange gifts, gift her a nice little flat panel of her own for the kitchen.

His other option is to get a speaker with a smaller footprint, like maybe the Mythos from Def Tech. He wouldn't have to change a thing. Just keep the polk surrounds and change out the front 3 speakers to timbre match and he's good to go.

I just got something nice with a very small footprint. Just came back, did a 6 hour drive (one way) to pick these off Ohio craigs list. Too tired to even try them now, but at least I don't see a single scratch on them, i mean nothing. I will tilt my hat to whoever queses what it is.. : )

They must be something nice if you were willing to drive 12 hours for them..

What does everyone think about 6.1 vs 7.1?

I bring it up because it may work a little better spacewise in my room to take the extra cs2 (after buying a csi a6) and using it mounted from the ceiling vs putting the m60s in the back

    Thoughts on 6.1
