Farve had his best year as a pro in a Vikings uniform, but he also had his worst.
Personally, I think Manning is taking an enromous risk coming back after his neck injuries. My understanding is that if he were hit a bit harder that last time, he may not be walking at all. I wish he would have just retired and protected his health, but that's just me. I wish him luck in Denver, but it would have been fun to see him have the receivers up in the 'Bay to throw to.The Gear... I think this is a huge upgrade for the Bronco's. Yeah I'd like to see a star in the receiver core to support the awesome arm of Manning. I also can see a super bowl team tweaked around Manning. It's a fine addition to any team in the NFL honestly. Dude is extremely talented.Dan
My personal quest is to save to world of bad audio, one thread at a time. -
They are now Super Bowl contenders in my book. I would like to see them keep Tebow, put him on the field at times, maybe 5 to 7 plays per game.
He could learn a lot from Peyton and be the guy who takes over after Manning retires. His accuracy/desicion making should improve in time. -
Jesus would like Tebow to be on America's team, the Cowboys. As a lifetime Broncos fan I couldn't agree more. Timmy needs to our his ego aside and tell Elway he wants to stay, after all how many guys get to learn under two of the five best QB's in the past 30 years? Every other team in the league sees him as a slash player, so why leave? Long term his QB skills will only improve by staying.
From the organizations point of view, his base salary is very cap friendly for 2012 ($1.1 mill). Create a set of 12 plays that utilize his unique skill set while he learns pro QBing from JE and PM.Review Site_ (((AudioPursuit)))

Since Rex likes to pound the ball Tebow kinda fits, 20-25 throws a game. Give him a good qb coach and in time he may just push Sanchez down the road.Review Site_ (((AudioPursuit)))

They will let him run 3-5 Sparano's Wildcat plays a game, that's it, no throw :biggrin:Gears shared to both living room & bedroom:

Good luck Peyton!
He should be good for the Broncos. I hope he doesn't get re-injured. That situation is a little scary.
Tebow will get a good look from the Jets. The Jet's offensive plays don't involve a lot of deep passing routes. Tebow is a decent short passer, plus he brings the run option which could open up their rather boring offense. One thing is for sure, Mark Sanchez just got real serious about about his training and game preparation.
I hope these quarterbacks help out their new teams.Carl -
Looks like Tebow is going to be seeing a lot more of Tom Terrific as a Jet. Not a "good" thing for "him". But OK for the Pats. Frankly, I think that was a good deal for Denver. Manning brings "a lot" to the table and can certainly run that offense. If they had him this last season, who knows?
Of course NYC is a really, really tough market for QBs so if you don't perform "consistently", the fans are not going to be turning the other cheek (IYKWIM)! (It's also Yankee country--a good thing for some and heinous for others--but no worse than California, n-John! Just more serious! It's all those tall grey towers in Manhattan, too existential for many--might give Mr. Tebow a Kierkegaardian reality check [Fear and Trembling and the Sickness unto Death]. lol).

Montana made it to the AFC champioship in 93. Lost to the bills who went on to well.. you know
gonna hate seeing manning twice a year. but my team has way bigger problems that him. lol -

But they did not win the big game and that's why these teams take on such a QB like these three guys, they want the super bowl not just a good year, hell the Broncos could have a good year with Tebow and great sales had they kept him if that's all the Broncos wanted..
Don't get me wrong I hope it works out as I bleed Orange during the season, But if he gets taken out of the game the Broncos just took 10 years backwards... -
Like you ToolFan I bleed orange, I'll bet I even have a DNA gene. If Manning goes down (and remember he is one of the least sacked qb's in history) then yes, the season is in the crapper. But that's the case for any team with an elite qb at the helm. Personally, I'm hoping that EFX (Elway, Fox, Xanders) gives Adam Webber a chance at developing and being the #2 guy.Review Site_ (((AudioPursuit)))
