Welcome fellow CP'ers... This is for forum bragging rights and a possible $10,000 first prize (courtesy of ESPN and BestBuy... not me).

ESPN's site is now open for selections, so I have set up a 'Private' group for CP. It is imaginatively enough called "Club Polk 1". Once again this year our password is "Matthew".

General info can be found HERE. You must have an ESPN Account to enter, but no biggie... in my experience ESPN does not bombard you with SPAM or shop your addy around.

This year you can create up to 10 entries. There may be an easier way to create and join entries, but the following will work...

Note: Please include your CP screen name when you name your entries, e.g., Tour2ma 1, Tour2ma 2, etc.

Once you are logged in, click on the Tournament Challenge banner and a pop up will take you to the "Game Home' page. Click the "Create a Bracket" button and type the name your first bracket. Then ignore the 'Join a Fans of Group' and uncheck all the ad BS as you scroll down until you see a button labeled "Save Settings"... click it. You will end up on the "My Brackets" tab with your saved Bracket's name.

Move the cursor to the "My Brackets" tab and the drop down menu will include a 'Create Bracket' option until you've created your ten.

Once you've created your ten, or as many as you want, click on the "Game Home" tab to see your list on entries and assign them to our group. When assigning your entries, type "Club Polk" in the search window and the name will appear in a drop menu; click on 'Club Polk 1'. Scroll down, enter our Password and click on the 'Join This Group' button. Then you can click on the "Game Home" tab and repeat... and repeat... and...

All that's left to do is to complete your brackets, AKA 'the easy part'... You can access them from the list of your entries on the "Game Home" tab.

The Club Polk group will starts off unlocked, so if you have already created entries, you may move them into our group. However, once the tourney starts, all groups will be locked and there will be no movement in, or out.

Good Luck and Let's have some fun...
More later,
Tour...

I get "password does not match, please try again" when I put in Matthew. I even tried it with the quotes, but no luck. Any suggestions?

C'mon folks, let get some more brackets in there. We had better participation last year. Just 'cause we KNOW the Buckeyes are gonna win it all this year, doesn't mean you can't at least TRY with your other weak-a$$ predictions.

Not usually a homer-pick guy when it comes to my brackets, but I made an exception on this one. Wisconsin Badgers all the way!

I feel the same grimmace. Only one bracket entered and I'm in 3rd. I'm in bad shape though as I don't have near as many possible points remaining as many others. My percentile dropped a lot with the Cincy win over Fla St. For some reason I had Fla St in the Final Four. I would have sworn I picked Ohio St. to beat them. Must have been a mistake with the mouse and not a thorough enough proofreading. At this point I'm hoping for a Baylor men and women sweep. Most likely won't happen, but it would be pretty cool if it did. That would be quite an accomplishment for a relatively small private school here in Texas (or anywhere else).

I filled out my bracket with 10 minutes to spare. I picked Marquette vs Wisconsin which would be my dream championship for all my life. Love them both but give marquette the edge as that's where my brother went and him and I had season tickets for 3 years. Loved every minute of every game for those years.

    Here's to the unthinkable!

C'mon grimmace...I thought I was the only crazy one to pick Wiso. It's great, though. Good to see other Badger fans on the forum!!

Just for the record, I suggested we only fill out one bracket last year. Maybe we should go that route next year...

You can still fill out ten for a shot at the prize at ESPN, but just link your top bracket to Club Polk. Sound fair?

Enter 10 or 1 and they all count IMO. It's just for fun and no big deal.

I intended to have more than one, but somehow I failed to link my other brackets to the Polk group. I don't how most people do it, but I usually fill out a serious bracket which is almost always ends up being my best bracket. Others that I fill out are usually full of upsets, etc. and never turn out to be very good.

I agree it's just for fun, but if everyone just filled out one, I would get into it more. Bragging rights would mean more.

That said I am still enjoying it and thank you Tour for putting this thing together!
