Thought that was one of their best too, and matched up fairly well with different lines within the polk family.
    HT SYSTEM-
    Sony 850c 4k
    Pioneer elite vhx 21
    Sony 4k BRP
    SVS SB-2000
    Polk Sig. 20's
    Polk FX500 surrounds

    Cables-
    Acoustic zen Satori speaker cables
    Acoustic zen Matrix 2 IC's
    Wireworld eclipse 7 ic's
    Audio metallurgy ga-o digital cable

    Kitchen

    Sonos zp90
    Grant Fidelity tube dac
    B&k 1420
    lsi 9's

    The biggest was the CS1000P.

The best would be the match to your system as stated above.

I really loved that center and may have to bring one home again sometime soon. When I bought my first ML center the Matinee I was left with a little bit of sadness when I remembered how the csi5 sounded in comparison. It was not until I spent 2k on the stage that I felt satisfied and thats alot considering you can pick up a polk csi5 for under 200

Yup! She's a good 'un! Don't know how it compares to the CS1000P, but the CS400(i) is just terrific, and a perfect center for all the older RT/RTi (Reference Theater, Reference Theater improved) line.
    Alea jacta est!

The Cs1000p has oft been mentioned as the best center channel to ever come out of Polk Audio.

    I tend to agree.

But Conradicles is right to mention, timbre matching is most important.

By the way, the CS400 was a mini version of the CS1000p (which had built in powered subwoofers)

I don't see how there could be any debate; it's got to be the new LSiM706c.

I've had good experiences with the CS-350LS, Csi-A6, and LSi-C, but I highly doubt any of those can touch the new line, based on the LSiM bookies I've heard...
    2-Channel: PC > Schiit Eitr > Audio Research DAC-8 > Audio Research LS-26 > Pass Labs X-250.5 > Magnepan 3.7's

Living Room: PC > Marantz AV-7703 > Emotiva XPA-5 > Sonus Faber Liuto Towers, Sonus Faber Liuto Center, Sonus Faber Liuto Bookshelves > Dual SVS PC12-Pluses

    Office: Phone/Tablet > AudioEngine B1 > McIntosh D100 > Bryston 4B-ST > Polk Audio LSiM-703's

I too love the CS350-LS and that is what I am currently running with my SDA's. Getting ready to upgrade the crossover too...

My twin CS400's kicked my CS350-LS to the curb.... or at least the closet...

    The CS1000p was overkill...
    More later,
    Tour...
