    Congrats Dan, glad you like it. It's the magic of a good power source your hearing that brings out the detail in the recording. Kinda addicting isn't it ? Problem is, once you get used to having an amp in your system, there's no going back to just a receiver. Happy listening bro.

    Thanks tony,it is addicting I'm already looking for a pre to go with it.Most important is having fun with this and im having a blast.Only problem is there's always something better.

    LOL....Yep, but take your time. Good pieces of gear will always be around. Do your research, set your budget, and pounce when the right piece comes up at the right time for the right price.

    Thanks Drumminman,this amp kept calling me back like a Siren to a sailor.I have to thank Pepster too, his cables are in the mix and im sure they are contributing to the sweetness.Thanks Paul

    Still diggin' it eh Dan.... you know, I'm kinda glad you went for the Belles. Not because it is a musical amp, but just so you can relate your experience to others. The Belles is rated at 100 watts per channel, now you know the difference between a receiver rated the same. Like we always say, it's not about the quantity of the watts, but about the quality of the watts.

    Maybe share some more thoughts on what your hearing. I know your running M70's which alone are pretty easy to drive, but any speaker will benefit from good clean power. For an "Old fat Dog", your starting to get your game on.:cheesygrin::cheesygrin:

    Tony, I'm lovin the sound from this little amp.I know they are different but I have to say this amp is kicking my Carvers butt that's in my shop.I'm not very good at describing what I hear, I just have to say its Smooth and very detailed.
    If it can make the 70s sound this good,what would it do for better speakers.I'm afraid to bring in a pair of 7s from the shop in to the house to try,they might not make it back out there.

    Alright Dan ya went & made me mad! Proving me wrong on the watts spec! I knew the Belles was rated 30amps peak/ch, but I'veposted "...80 hi-current WPC lifts my 'A7s off the ground" a bunch of times for the weekly "how much power do 'A7s need?"

    All teasing aside I've wanted, wished, PRAYED I was wrong on the power spec. I'm so glad someone blessed you with that spec sheet. I drooled over it more earlier today.

    To Tonyb: you can now speak from a slightly different perspective when people post (the weekly) question about driving A7/9s or LS series speakers w/an AVR. We both have posts on that "do internals matter...?" thread.

    As a side note to that: see the pics for a look "under the hood" for anyone interested: a pair of PS caps totaling 66Kuf & that transformer mentioned I that link in Dan's post earlier.Anyone want to venture a guess on the transformers VA rating? My guess @ 40VAC - 800.

    I just found out the hard way I dont know how to post pics from my iPhone. Maybe later today...

Yourself included,after listening for a while now I'm glad I bought this amp.BTW love the cans, they are whoppers.
