help with my CSI a6
I'm new to this whole home audio and need some help. i know this is probably a stupid question but I'm putting together a home audio system and i just purchased my csi a6. i seen there are two pair of inputs for the center and only have one pair of outputs for my receiver. i am currently running it from a onkyo ht-360 and have no ideal how to set up both pairs of inputs. Also, i just purchased some rti a3's for my front but was wondering if i could just purchase some rti a9's for my fronts instead or would the a3's help as well? Also, do i need to upgrade my receiver or buy an amp as well or. . . ? Thanks in advance

How much do u make a year? If more than 100k, then yes, get the A9s. A9 has nothing over A7 except power, and power on the A7s is already unbearable. I don't understand why anybody buys A9 (although I know I will immediately be told) over the A7s when they have nothing different, same drivers only more of them.
I have the A7s and A6 and here is what my opinion so far is. The two A7 are FANTASTIC in 2.0 or 2.1 system (with enough power u don't need a sub most likely). Even movies sound so good in 2.0. But once I switch to surround and I start using the center, the A7s get like auxiliary function. They don't sound full any more. A7 is a great center but to me the two towers alone play everything, even dialogue much better when the play everything.
For that reason, if you are buying for HT only, stay with the A3, because if you use the center u don't need that much from the left and right (provided that you have a subwoofer). If you want to occasionally use the left and right for 2.0 music go to A7s. Then if you have a good living treat yourself with the A9s, why not. Keep in mind that buying A9 automatically means you have to buy externam amp, and a powerful one. Driving A9 with an average receiver is like buying a ferrari and driving it in first gear only.I have found that tube based computers provide the best sound quality. ENIAC and MANIAC I offer a smooth, well defined and articulated sound unmatched by the current silicon based CPUs.jeremymarcinko wrote: »But as in all things your perception is your reality. -

First things first.....Welcome to the forum!
Second, you only need to use one set of terminals on the back of your A6, just keep the stock jumpers in place and you can use either top or bottom.
I would think your Onkyo would be just fine with the A6 and the A3's. Your 360 only has a pre-out for a sub, no external amps.
So, if you were to gather a pair of A9's and you like to crank it, then you would consider a larger AVR with pre-outs to accommodate an amp, or two.
But for the time being, since you have what you have, I'd just try the A3's with the A6 powered by your 360 and see how you like it.Source: BRP Panasonic UB9000, CDP Emotiva ERC3 - Display: LG OLED EVO 83 C3 - Pre/Pro: Marantz 8802A - Amplification: Emotiva XPA-DR3, XPA-2 x 2, XPA-6, Speakers, Mains/2ch-Focal Kanta No2's, C-LSiM706, S-702F/X, RS-RTiA9's, WS-RTiA9's, FH-RTiA3's, Subs - Epik Empire x 2
