CSi A4 Center Channel Question

I recently purchased a CSi A4 to complete my 5.1 home theater setup (other speakers: pair of RTi A1s for the fronts, FXiA4s for the rears and a DSW Pro 550 sub). I ordered from Amazon (sold by Amazon-no third party). The first center channel had a bizarre looking black mark above one of the drivers (see attached photographs). It isn't the stain of the wood, I'm pretty convinced on that. In fact, it looks like a pen mark. This is a beautiful speaker--what a shame!
Anyway, I sent it back and received a new speaker from Amazon. This one looks good, except for the fact that whomever glued the dust cover did kind of a sloppy job. There is an excessive amount of glue and there is a drop of glue relatively far away from the dust cover itself. I attached two pictures of that.
I sent Polk an email with my pictures today, but I was curious if anyone out there would think that this could affect the sound quality of the speaker. Personally, I kind of doubt it. To me, the speaker sounds fine, but I don't exactly have a trained ear. Any feedback would be appreciated!

I don't think it would be an issue or cause problems with the sound.polkaudio RT35 Bookshelves
