Had no idea so many of us had the procedure. I'm definitely taking it easy over the weekend. Just planning to lounge around the house and relax as much as possible, since I have a business trip coming up end of the month. TonyB that's a kicka$$ procedure you had bro.

I elected to have mine done on the military base here in Japan. The Dr. Said I was at bat first, with 3 more stepping up to the plate afterward.

Holy cow! Talk about an overdose of TMI!

Enjoy those ventilated seats Sherardp (they're not nearly as silly as you might think if you've never tried them) and keep the transmission in "C" for comfort mode!
    Alea jacta est!

Fall of 1996 . . . with 4 beautiful, healthy children it was time to go to the vet.

We'd waited until my son was 2 just to be sure everyone was healthy and the family was complete.

I scheduled the best urologist in town on a Thursday morn instead of a Friday to gain that extra day of healing. I had a big week the next week at work and wanted that extra day off just to be sure.

The procedure went textbook-perfect and I was on the couch by noon, watching reruns on TV and waiting for the local anesthetic to wear off. As it did I popped a Vicodin. That continued Friday through all of the Saturday college football games and through Saturday night at midnight when I decided I'd let the drug wear off.

Sunday morning. No pain, no swelling . . . perfect. And to play it safe I sat on my butt and watched pro foolball all day.

By Sunday Night Football I was healed and home free. Returning to work Monday morning would be a breeze.

It was about 9PM and my son's bedtime. I spread my arms to give that little 2-1/2 yr-old a hug . . .

He dropped into a 3-point stance, exploded off the line, and speared me with his head right in the stitches!

I had no choice but to be at my desk the next day, and I have to tell you that "swelling to the size of cantaloupes" is possible.

I walked around like I was 95 for the next 7 days and actually considered pushing a whellbarrow around to carry my "produce".

Good Luck, Heal Fast, and watch out for rugrats!

I'm going to keep mine a bit longer. I told my son that if he didn't behave himself i would kill him and make another one just like him.

That's awesome. Been taking it easy. I would say I'm at about 85-90% back in business. Still a little sore, but it's almost gone. I followed the Dr.'s orders to the fullest, so it went well. The only part that sucks is wearing a jock strap, but it helped.
