    havent watched it with a good receiver yet....sadly im using my aiwa until my marantz is back from the shop along with my 12" m&k....then ill decide how good the movie sounds....right now, i didnt notice anything bad about how it sounded but then again how would i? im using pro logic and the shittiest receiver possible

    Warner Bros. did a very unfair job for Region 1 DVD viewers. A big "UNFAIR" for having Dolby Digital 5.1

    Region 4 (Australia) DVD gets Dolby Digital EX 5.1 and better Front DVD cover as well. What a pity for all of us?

    I gotta agree with the dialogue issues mentioned previously, but the surround effects were pretty good.

    But the movie as a whole was rather disappointing. Most of the fight scenes seemed to go on forever. Sure the special effects were pretty good, but after awhile I felt like I was watching the same scene over and over and over and over and over....

    I guess I was let down because I don't think the movie lived up to all the hype it received.

    Maybe I missed something...

    but later in the movie, when he is fighting the 5-6 people (including the asian chick) in the 'house' with all the gothic weapons... he *finally* actually kills some of them... runs one through with a sword, smashes the chick with that giant router bit thing. But before that, during the fight, he often COULD have easily knifed one or sliced one or whatever.. there was one point where he actually whacked a guy on the back with the handle of the knife. Why not just kill each one in turn as the opportunity arose, rather than knock them around so they could get back up and fight some more??

    i guess it wouldn't be Hollywood if he killed everyone off in 2 mins flat. :D

    It's all Hollywood make believe.. it's fantasy. and it's fun.
