Yamaha RX-V1 to power Polk Monitors?

I'm currently looking at a Yamaha RX-V1 receiver on Craigslist. It was Yamaha's flagship receiver about 12 years ago. I believe it's something like 100 watts per channel. All of the reviews I've read have said it can handle 4 ohm speakers with no problems. But can it handle five 4 ohm speakers, RTA12C, Monitor 7C and Monitor 5B's or would that prove too much?

That's one "beast" of an older AVR....2000? 60 some pounds. But it is still and AVR?
So maybe not the RTA12Cs, maybe the 7Cs and definitely the 5Bs.
Heck I can run Monitor 5s fairly loud off an old JVC Super A receiver that is 40 watts per channel. Probably delivers 55 or 60 watts into 4 ohms. Plenty loud for a smaller room. Surprising power for a 20 some pound unit?
Don't have a set of 7s yet....soon! So I can't comment on that. But I've run Monitor 10As to reasonable volumes off a Marantz 2265 and it did a great job. 65 watts x 2 8 ohms. And a little more into 4 ohms.
Hopefully others will chime in!

it will run them all day everyday. I have Installed many RXV1's and I can tell you first hand that is a monster despite it being a "receiver". It has power and grace. One of Yamaha's finest receivers ever. Get it and enjoy , I love that piece.Dan
