What do you mean by balanced power regarding an isolation tranformer?
thanks
I have used one for 15 years. -
Cool pics Tommy, your little girl is cute as a button too.
If I may suggest, moving those front speakers about a foot wider on each side and maybe forward 6 inches. See if you like the sound better. I know it looks cool and all together like that, but looks like the room is fairly large to be that close together.HT SYSTEM-

I wish I could Tony I have pulled them out and wider before just to hear what they would sound like and they do open up much more than where I have them. However the pics are misleading about the room size. Where all my gear sits (the red area)is actually a nook thats sits about a foot back. WAF and the shape of the room kind of has me stuck until we gett a new place ( hopefully in the next year). To attempt to mitigate SBIR from being so close together and the walls. I have 3, 4 inch acoustic panels that line the wall behind the speakers and TV. I really wish I could pull them out 18 inches each side and maybe 2 feet forward, but I think that will have to wait for a new living room and a excuse to get the A9's and throw those on surround. Heres a primer from the gentleman credited with originating the idea.http://www.equitech.com/articles/origin.html
Yup, get your read on BZ. Lots of info out there. But the principle is that by the secondary center tap going to ground, you get balanced voltage to the ouput circuit. This can lower noise in a very useful manner.
CJA so called science type proudly says... "I do realize that I would fool myself all the time, about listening conclusions and many other observations, if I did listen before buying. That’s why I don’t, I bought all of my current gear based on technical parameters alone, such as specs and measurements."
More amazing Internet Science Pink Panther wisdom..."My DAC has since been upgraded from Mark Levinson to Topping."
