To anybody who has done any woodworking, have you seen or tried out the Kreg woodjoining jig ? If so, interested for comments because I was thinking of getting one. Thanks.

I have one. I like it. I use it to make mirror frames and to join the miter's for stair nosings.
I like speakers that are bigger than a small refrigerator but smaller than a big refrigerator:D

I'm in the same boat, thinking of getting one. About to construct some living room built ins. If you do a google search and find a site that sells them they usually have a video posted on how to use them. It looks really easy and effective.

I've been using pocket hole joints for years, and they work really well and the Kreg jigs and accessories make it easy to do.

Sounds like a plan then. I'll probably build some media storage to start with. Thanks.

My father in law has a different Kreg jig and is very happy with it.

Excellent tool. I much prefer using this to a biscuit joiner or dowels. Makes good and strong joints. I also like that since it is a screw if a couple pieces have warped a bit you can pull them into place pretty easily. I bought one 2 years ago and use it on most of my wood projects.

Find a place to buy the screws cheap. After the initial purchase that is where the cost is as you have to buy a certain length and perhaps type for the material you are using.

    Have fun with the project,
    Scott
