Def Tech Supercube II?

Any Supercube II owners out there? Interested in opinions on this sub on the current used market.

I know there are plenty of other subs to consider (from SVS, HSU, Velodyne, REL, etc) and if you'd like to point me to a specific one to consider (used market in the $300 range), that's great. However, mostly interested in opinions of this particuler sub because I've got a chance to pick up a clean Supercube II and my Sunfire (True Signature MKII) has entered the "hum" stage of its life. And, yes, I'm close to Sunfire and may still take it in for repair.

Polk RTxxxi series speakers, Denon receiver, B&K amp, approx 12x19 room with limited space for the sub footprint, used for both music and movies.

Thanks for any thoughts!

The Supercube II is an amazing woofer. It hits hard and low , it's musical and fast. Nothing wrong with it at it's asking retail price. I'm not sure your gonna find one for 300 bucks but if you do and it's in good shape , grab it.

Martin Logan subs are music first then theater 2nd. They are highly musical but don't offer that PUNCH that other woofer do. Yeah it still does theater well just doesn't scare the hell out of you .
Rel is the exact same way.

I think the Supercube is one of the best double duty woofers on the market.
