Rush Limbaugh actually defended Christie's decision to lower the flag for Whitney Houston.

Betty Ford had a hidden drug problem, overcame it, and founded a clinic to try to help others. She admitted her problem (back when it was embarrassing rather than fashionable to do so).

Do you also think they should lower the flag when Mr. Limbaugh passes away, as we all will, since he is also famous and influential?

Maybe actually think about the issue at hand and consider being consistent based on principle rather than excusing people you like and attacking people you don't like.

Whoosh !!! Over your head that flew. I DETEST Mr. Limbaugh and all his hypocrisy. I admire Betty Ford, you, that's to be determined !

Greg I would hate to second guess you and a mind reader i'm not.

But, you must have an opinion or idea of what I am referring to? I won't hold it against you for your answer. Not expressing your thoughts is going nowhere though, which doesn't promote education; it counteracts it.

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

Greg with all due respect I asked you what you were referring to because your statement was a bit vauge and now you want me to play some sort of guessing game with you? Sorry i'm not going to do that, if you don't want to answer my question then fine if you decide too then carry on i'm certainly willing to listen to whatever your oppinion is on the subject, hell I might even learn something new or at least a different way of thinking about the issue of addiction.

You have to remember I was the one asking you to clarify your thoughts which as you mentioned doesn't promote further education on the subject if you ask me to guess

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

    Snow,

I don't know you, nor you me, so it came as a surprise that you attributed so much of the above to me. That's alot to assume about the couple of lines I posted.

In fact, I feel great sympathy for her, that she destroyed her life with the way she CHOSE to live it. No one deserves to have it end like that, famous or not. But she did nothing that I've read about to deserve a formal recognition that should be reserved for those who made significant contributions to society. I'm an Elvis fan, a John Lennon fan, a Led Zeppelin/John Bonham fan, a Buddy Holly fan, a Billie Holliday fan, a Janis Joplin fan, a Keith Moon fan. There are others I can't think of right now, but my point is that while all of these folks made significant contributions to music, none deserved flags flown at half staff.

IMHO that should be reserved to those who've made a profound positive impact on society.
Then I suppose I owe you an apology.

    What flew over my head?

Do you think I automatically agree with something based on who says it?

Do you think I thought that you liked Mr. Limbaugh?

Somehow I trust will still sleep tonight while you decide.

    It is really simple.

It goes to show where this country is heading. For anyone to say it does not hurt or degrade honor for other who served our country. Are you kidding me?? Ya gotta be one of the dumbest asses in history.

Shame on my pal Gov. Christie

Well then....just exactly WTF is your point in your cryptic response to my post? I truly am..... at a "loss". Second thought......never mind.......
