SurroundBar 3000 Channel Settings

Despite my best efforts, the 2.4 Ghz connection between the soundbar and the subwoofer are causing problems with my home wireless network. I have physically located the devices at opposite ends of my house, but am still having trouble maintaining a connection between my network attached devices (laptops and cell phones) and the router since installing the SurroundBar system. I have run network sniffers to make sure that no other wireless networks in the area are causing the problem and have confirmed that my router is the only one in the area running on the specific channel I've entered.

I know I can change the channel used by the SurroundBar system and am wondering what the four different channels correspond to. Are they related in any way to the 11 channels that are available on most routers or completely different?

My 2.4 GHz router channel is: 1
Most neighboring 2.4 GHz router channels are: Either 6 or 11
My SurroundBar 3000 is currently set to the default channel setting of 1, but I have no idea whether this "1" and the "1" on my router is the same.

Before I dive into a strictly trial and error situation, I'm hoping for some guidance on where to start.

I would suggest looking into your router's config page and reading the help section. From my experience, there is usually a guide (some routers) that tells you how to work around the situation. Every router is different... Otherwise, I would suggest changing the channel until the network and the SurroundBar both have good signal.
