I've got 4 CDs left that are not yet shipped, and they've sent me a couple emails saying they'd be delayed, no problem I said. I've seen about 4 of these emails come across and then another come across this morning and almost deleted it but decided to read it first. On this one they said it was delayed, but then also mentioned that I had to go online to my account and approve the delay and that if I didn't do this the order would be cancelled. That's a pretty clever and sneaky way of them being able to cancel orders without actually sending the cancellation email.
By the way in case you're wondering, all 4 of those albums that have been delayed shipment are currently in stock and ready to ship. In fact I ordered one of them at 'regular' price on Monday and UPS just dropped it off at my door, so clearly they have them in stock they just don't want to fulfill the order.
I wasn't upset about the order cancellation emails I'd received previously, if it was a pricing mistake then that's fine and I won't hold them to it. However, the new sneaky tactic of cancelling orders on the sly does put me off.
I feel the same way. So far, I've received only 3 CDs, with about 12-15 still "in queue." I also read the "need to approve the delay" language and was a bit put off. I did, however, approve all of the delays, so we'll see what happens.... -
I have only received 2 CDs from my initial order of 17, of which 7 have been cancelled. However, I've yet to receive one single e-mail from Amazon.com.
Eight titles are still waiting to be shipped. -
Got a new round of "delayed need approval" emails this morning. I will be as persistent as they are and see what happens. I did misspeak before. I've received 6 CDs, with 16 still to go.

Same here.
In the meantime, I've received not one single piece of e-mail confirming my order or cancellation from Amazon. I've e-mailed them to complain and I may take it further....
