No more sound from my Surround Bar 3000 IHT

I recently received the 3000 IHT as a Christmas gift from my wife. I eagerly set it up X-mas day and it was working fine (except the remote control, was never able to get the tv's remote to work properly) but just the other day, the sound stop coming from the sound bar. We had not change anything as far as settings with the TV or sound bar and I have no clue on why it is no longer working. I tried everything I could think of but no luck. I tried calling CS but was sent to voice mail. Any ideas on what the problem may be?
