Sub cable recommendations for Micropro 4000

Currently running just a monster RCA cable, but was hoping to go with a more mid-level or higher cable to maximize performance. Was looking at perhaps the Audioquest Type-X or signalcable for more budget minded cable. Anyone with experience with whether or not a quality cable is worth it for subs, I would appreciate any feedback you can offer.

I'm no expert but I've tried about 5 or 6 different cables with my subs and couldn't tell a difference. Not worth it IMO.

I've used RG-6 cable and compression fittings with RCA ends. I've also used RG-6 with standard cable F-connectors and used F to RCA connectors at the ends. Monoprice has them: http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=104&cp_id=10430&cs_id=1043008&p_id=4130&seq=1&format=2

Never a problem, and they are cheap.

No need for boutique cables on a sub.
