    Sorry about that.

I'm talking about when he covered Lou Reed's "Metal Machine Music" and The Shagg's "My Pal Foot Foot" while trying to be edgy in the late 70's, not the "classic" stuff.

We'ell thanka youa forr thee wok downa mem'ery elanea.

If I wasn't thinking about death before getting to this post I certainly am now!

Being older and in the dying range, man people around me my age are dropping like flies. I downsized, bookies, an avr, simple hookup and much lighter than the towers we use to have. There was a reason to buy the bookies at this time as when I die, if my wife has to move stereo equipment she just has to deal with bookies instead of big equipment she might not be able to handle.

I ought to make a will and leave my cats to Mr. Big Blue Light.

Interesting contrast . . . some of the oldest vintage stuff I have is the most valuable. Of the non-vintage stuff, my kids are my biggest asset.

I don't really have anything that old, except my SDA-1C's, and they aren't worth anywhere near what I paid for them new in '89, even after upgrades. Same with the older amps I have. Of course it will all be old 30 to 40 years from now, but electronics aren't known to hold their value very well, which is OK, I didn't buy any of it as an investment, I bought it to enjoy.

I kinda thought about it before and was worried.

But when I really think about things after my death, I realized there is nothing to worry about.
Trying out Different Audio Cables is a Religious Affair. You don't discuss it with anyone.:biggrin:
