Yes that rhododendron is huge and I hate to see it lose the color. I love that bush as it gives me a little privacy from the diabolical wench next door. :eek:Jeff

Here are some more of the platforms that are for sale.
Let me take measurements in the am and I will post as 1,2 and 3. They are pretty close in size. The single one at the top in this pic has been spoken for(it is the same platform as shown in very 1st post). As far as end caps, I think I can handle that. The only think is that you would have end grain along the sides. The fronts and top would be great! When these are gone, I will consider made-to-order, but not until these are shipped. As far as shipping costs, it will be whatever they cahrge. I have no way of knowing til I take it to them. Shouldn't be too bad, but I will put in a fairly big box and packed well.Jeff -
Lets see a picture of your woodshop!

That would be super. Thanks! A minimum and maximum depth from the front edge would be great. The absolute largest size for my application is 16" x 22.5". The closer I am to 15" the better. I do want one of the three remaining for sure. The widest and deepest based on the measurements listed in your first post (14-15" x 19.75").Salk SoundScape 8's * Audio Research Reference 3 * Bottlehead Eros Phono * Park's Audio Budgie SUT * Krell KSA-250 * Harmonic Technology Pro 9+ * Signature Series Sonore Music Server w/Deux PS * Roon * Gustard R26 DAC / Singxer SU-6 DDC * Heavy Plinth Lenco L75 Idler Drive * AA MG-1 Linear Air Bearing Arm * AT33PTG/II & Denon 103R * Richard Gray 600S * NHT B-12d subs * GIK Acoustic Treatments * Sennheiser HD650 * -

Okay, 1-3(left to right) are:
#1 is 17 7/8" wide x 16"-16.5" deep
#2 is 19" wide x 16"-17" deep (sale pending?)
#3 is 18 13/16" wide x 15"-15.5" deep
These do have the typical natural inclusions from minerals, insects, etc. This wood is virgin timber and several hundred years old!Jeff -
Unbelievably impressive, especially that rack. I'm now going to be forced to wander around my apartment looking for somewhere to put one of those slabs...
-
Payment sent for "the middle one" door # 2 at 19" wide x 16"-17" deep (Sold!). The natural inclusions is what makes them so different and beautiful..... to me anyway.

Not to derail, but I think there would be a market for SDA top and bottom caps out of this or similar material. Great work and these look amazing.

Interested in the larger one. Pic and size please if you can?Trying out Different Audio Cables is a Religious Affair. You don't discuss it with anyone.:biggrin: -
I got the platform in on Friday and it is gorgeous, especially the live/natural edge, very nice. Jeff did an excellent job of packing it and was a real pleasure to deal with. Also it was only 25.00 to ship, which wasn't bad. I highly recommend these platforms. Will try to post a few pics later on this week.SDA SRS 2.3tls; RDO 198's, Dynamatted, Armaflexed, Gimpod Boards, Crossovers by quadzilla: Clarity ESA 630V, Mills Resistors, Track Audio Spikes, Musky's Curly Maple Caps

You know, I can build a motorcycle from scratch, a car from the ground up, I built my own subwoofer, it took 3 weeks, sounds good, looks like the girl who was great in bed but didn't take in public. When I see master woodwork like this it is mind blowing to me. It is just a medium that doesn't agree with me and it drives me nuts. I love that stand, the platforms and the clocks OP. If you ever need a slave for a week or a some bodywork on your favorite motorized vehicle, I will gladly trade my skills to be taught a few of yours. PA isn't far and they have Yuengling!
beautiful platforms, if only I had a room in my house worthy of them. Free bump I guess.
