It's so rare to catch thieves nowadays. Congrats on getting them.

Only a fraction of my things were still at the scrap buyers, resitution can take years and some things were sentimental and can't ever be replaced.

OOps! I guess I should advice my entire family about that. I thought you could still do some non lethal justice.

My grandfather still shot dry rice into bamboo he had for to get rid of all the birds, right in the heart of the nicest part of Montgomery, Alabama. It was assumed you could do that to vandals and thieves too.

Alabama laws might be a whole lot more forgiving than Maryland's are, ya cain't hardly have no fun around here no more !

The sheriffs were throwing the term "attempted murder" around for a while, I lipped off some and almost got to try on some handcuffs. I kept telling them I was only guilty of "tire-cide".....they apparently saw no humor in that, at all. Sheesh.

At some point we need to take this country back to what makes it great. We are still a great country, but little by little things are getting out of hand. Criminals are now suing victims for getting hurt during the commission of a crime. I've had my car stolen twice out of my driveway, and even after the thieves were caught their parole officer was making me feel bad for complaining about the condition of the car after they trashed it. "At least you got your car back!"

she also said at least I have a job. True, but these weren't down and out unemployed people trying to feed their babies, they were teenagers running around stealing cars, electronics, and then dealing crack.

They left plenty of evidence and contraband in my car. I guess I'm lucky they didn't blame that on me and haul me off to jail. I had to call them to get the electronics back to the rightful owners, and they just laughed when I told them about the broken crackpipe glass and gun shell casings.

Yeah, that's a great comment about the whole criminal justice system. I woulda thought that Florida woulda been a little harsher than that though. Can you hire professional "leg breakers" to visit the scumbags after they receive their slap on the wrist? I might be in the position to "employ". Soon.:lol:

ROFLMFAO.......yesterday was the ringleaders 18th birthday. A felony conviction is the type of gift that "keeps on giving" ! What a knucklehead.
