Sumbitches stole a truckload of stuff from my locked barn while I was away at the Doctors office. Scrap prices are so high now that Nothing is safe from these cockroaches. Heres my list that I have made so far.
Stainless chimney sections (double wall 8")-massive chain fall maybe 300-350lbs.-large Dayton 2cyl./2stage compressor-Chevy 307 engine- approx. 150lb. Peter Wright anvil (signed)- Heavy blacksmiths leg vise - rear transaxle for Cub Cadet 1250 (hydrostatic) - small 1 1/2 ton chain fall/hoist - 1978 4hp Mercury outboard engine - approx.1-half of a large spool of 12-2w/ground romex with white sheathing - (2)pressure washers with 8hp engines (1 w/ no pump)(1 on stainless steel pipe cart)- 2-8' lengths of 1-1/4" aluminum square stock - 12ft. of 3" aluminum conduit and 1 long sweep/elbow 3"dia. - several heavy boxes of old/antique tools - 4 1/2' clawfoot bath tub (white) w/faucets - huge 2hp. general electric motor large shaft w/double groove pulley (gray) - 5' section of well casing w/green cap - large oxygen cyl. (rusty) - Small green enamel woodstove (Jotul)- medium Vermont Castings "Defiant" woodstove w/out the glass doors - several tractor PTO couplings, drawbars, ect.-more to be discovered stolen. Reward for the identity of the person/s in possession of these items !
These people (and me) are very fortunate that I didn't discover them in the act, as they'd be lying in the coroners office and I'd be sitting in jail.

Drinking lots of coffee until daylight and the Sheriff's Deputy come.
-
Wow, I'm sorry to hear this happened to you. I hope you or the police track them down and they get what's coming to them.
-
Thanks, that's my hope too !! Be a shame to shred a $2000.00 woodstove for it's scrap value.($ 0.10- $0.14 a pound)

You must have been at the doctors office for some time. It would take awhile to load it all up and not knowing when you would be back home or how far a drive you took..
We lock all our scrap at the shop up in a trailer till Fridays when the scrap truck comes and hauls it. -
Wife dragged me to Costco, Wal Mart, pizza place after doctors. We were gone about 7 hrs. To be honest, they might have been working at it for more than one day because they forced the 14'x16' door and not the locked walk-through entry door. But....guess what, the A'holes Ford diesel truck broke down in front of my neighbors house and.....it's still there! (now empty). The 20 yr. old female deputy they sent out is calling in a detective and hopefully I'll be seeing my stuff again real soon. I'd really hate to lose that nice anvil!

Cutting can start with a thumb is what I say. Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them. -

Caught the little bastages after they retuned A THIRD TIME !! A 12 gauge blast point blank in their front tire reduced their driving range and the deputies found them less a mile from my house. I told them to wait for the LEOs but they tried to flee. 2 18 year olds and a juvenile are in some hot watter tonite ! I must think up an offering to the karma Gods !

Yeah the Deputies got all kinda torqued up about the "weapon use":loneranger:. I have 15 days to get Mr. Mossberg back from them.

Glad you caught the scumbags. It realy stinks that nothing is safe anymore. My wife bought a used baby monitor from the goodwill. I put it in my detached garage. That thing is so sensitive I can hear a mouse ****. I pity the fool that tries to break into my garage in the middle of the night.

Yep, now the victum is the one charged with being out of line in this scenario......Good grief.
I've seen it many, many times and that's why thieves KEEP THIEVING!!!
The thieving has to stop and if it comes to this, I'm sad for the families of the stupid desperate thieves (all over the world) when their actions result in their demise. For some strange reason I don't feel any sorrow for the thieves who get hurt or killed . I think I should but I don't.Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them. -

X2
But..... they will probably be treated with respect and compassion through out the due process and then probation. But maybe they will get 10 years. But the bad part of that is it cost taxpayers 50,000.00 a year per inmate to incarcerate their butts. Sickening!!Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them. -

Apparently, the stuff was sold locally at a new facility called "Copper Jack's" . I hope to recover everything, if not I might get their 97 F350 Powerstroke theft vehicle (needs one tire, right front) as reparations.
What a criminal name for a business huh. They had to know it was stolen property!! They need to be arrested too. Round em all up and find a cinder block wall.
Good luck with the recovery of items. Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them. -

Yeah but.....I'd rather THEY be in custody and not me. Now, if someone busts into my house, they can give their soul to God because.....their **** is MINE ! I coulda slit the tire's sidewall with my Gerber but, that wouldn't have had the 'pucker the ****" effect like the boom of a 16.5" barreled 12 gauge does. My wrist hurts a little, did the deed with one hand. -
Yeah but....like the boom of a 18.0" barreled 12 gauge does.
Fixed it for ya. Glad you caught them. Hope everything comes out good.>

Doh, I meant 18.5" ! I'm planning to be the first "customer" at the scrap buyer's yard in approx. 5 hours. With a 6mm kidney stone that needs to be shockwaved and a brand new lyme tick bite........this theft/firearm crap was the LAST thing I needed !
-
Glad you caught them GDP! Hopefully you get your stuff back. We set up a game camera outside my grandpa's place when it was getting broken into. Caught the POS on video. We had changed the locks though, so he couldn't get in. On second thought, I wish we wouldn't have changed the locks; he would've done more jail time then.
Oh, and move to Texas. Then you wouldn't have to worry about using deadly force to protect your propertyEveryone in my town is in a big stink over this article, but the **** did it two nights in a row, serves em' right....

I'm cheering for that guy. I'm a firm believer that if more thieves were in fear for their life, there would be a lot less stealing going around.
-CodyMusic is like candy, you have to get rid of the rappers to enjoy it -
Congrats on catching them.engtaz
I love how music can brighten up a bad day. -
I long for the old days when one could introduce rock salt to a thief's epidermi and not be in trouble for it !
