And your point is what? I just called the statement dumb, not you but feel free to get personal, it's simply doesn't affect me, only you.

Not everyone has to like the same things the next guy does, that's why we all have the ability to state our opinion. As far as it being juvenile, fine, perhaps it is but again....who cares. I choose to consider him a rube and his gear is awful in my experience. If that gets you angry, you have far bigger issues than anything I can blurt out on here. I'll forget about this entire thread in.....three....two....

Referring to something someone says as "dumb" is calling that person dumb. That I do take offense to. If it's your view fine. I have no problem with your view just the dickish way it came across. A rube? That's almost comical coming from someone that doesn't have a line of amps on the market. Ahh well whatever. Matters not.
    Too much **** to list....

I equate Bob Carver to Eric Clapton. I like the guy and some of his music but I don't get his god like status as guitar player. IMO, there are a lot better guitarists than Clapton, doesn't mean he's not great. Same with Bob, I don't understand the hype around him or why people will exchange nasty words over someone's opinion if it doesn't align with their view of Bob Carver or his accomplishments.

Perhaps it may be because you are neither an amp designer/builder or guitar player?

Why does that have any bearing on my opinion of said artist/designer and/or the work they produce. So if I were a guitar player I would automatically like Clapton more than anyone else? How do you know I don't play guitar? If I were an amp designer then by default I should like all Bob Carver designs? That's sort of silly for you to even say.

It was just an observation. Do you play guitar? Didn't mean to sound like a smart **** if that's the way you took it.

No I don't play. Maybe I took your statement wrong.

I am worried about Bob's new speakers. They are extremely tall and slender, side firing multiple woofers, aluminum enclosure with little to no room for damping. Oh well, it may just work fine but I feel nervous for him....

I think I read somewhere that they sound pretty damn good, might have been on the CarverAudio.com forum. ( Toymaker fabricated the cases and feet, and assembled the towers in his shop.) My "dream" speakers are some AL3s with the same woofer mod that TNRabbit has done to his.

Yes, I read that in the carver forum. People said it sounds Big with Dynamics and Clarity. I think it's all attributes to the higher sensitivity of the Line Array but it's a mixed review at best. Nothing can be taken with seriousness considering they are not broken in, not in an ideal room, etc.

Anyone who is sorta interested in the Bob's Cherry amps, here is the review I found fascinating but yet the reviewer is kinda offending for bragging the gears he uses, IMO (of course).

This thread is absolutely hilarious to read, at least for someone who knows none of the back story.
