No sound from Tweeter. Infinite Resistance Across Leads

Hi yall. The tweeter of my CS20 stopped producing sound (I noticed zero treble coming out of the centre channel).
I took the tweeter out and measured the resistance across the leads, and got infinite resistance. I.e. no connection.
What does this mean? Broken leads? See picture attached of leads.
Local Polk Repair Shop in Acton, Ontario says $35 to replace the tweeter. Do you experts think that's what I should do, replace it:idea:?
Cheers,

Hello ZF,
The speaker came with a five year warranty to the original owner providing they were purchased from an authorized Polk Audio dealer. If this applies to you the tweeter can be replaced at no charge. You can contact our Canadian manager Walter Moser, at wmoser@polkaudio.com and he'll help you.

I'm the original owner, and I purchased the CS20 from Amazon.com.
Is Amazon an authorized Polk Audio Dealer?Kenneth Swauger wrote: »Hello ZF,

Hello,
Was this directly through Amazon or one of the companies listing items on Amazon?
