Running Speaker wires in my truck

Ok, I need help. First time posting here so I apologize on any forum mistakes ahead of time. I have purchased two sets of db5251's and am trying to install them into a 2008 Ford f-250 super duty crew cab pick up. I have installed the rears with little trouble and am having trouble installing the fronts. My problem is, how do I get NEW speaker wire to go from the speaker in the door to the cab? In the rear I had to drill holes in wiring harness where there was a spare and run the wire through there. In the fronts the plug is much larger and I can't get to that. The wiring harness in the cab is also in a tight space so I think it impossible to use the existing speaker wire through the door. Any suggestions?

I would suggest posting in the Car Audio section. Member bigaudiofanatic is very helpful over there.

As has been stated, the CA&E forum may be the best place to find quicker replies to these respective questions. However, as a professional automotive technician, I can probably help with a quick reply. When you open your front door(s), you'll see a flexible rubberized accordion looking tube that protects your factory wiring running between the main cabin and your door(s). That tube actually pops/pulls off fairly easily, and you can run new speaker wires through it and into your door w/o any problems. This will protect your wires from being pinched, and the installation job will look professional if performed this way.

This is a great evening or weekend DIY project for you to attempt, and if you've already found a way to be creative mounting your rear speakers, you should be able to install the front ones with ease. My only recommendation is to attempt this one door at a time. :) Good luck with your project and welcome to the forum!
