Hey guys,
It's been awhile since I've been on here. But my old ****$ just got through BCT and AIT for the Army and I finally got my family and all my stuff back. One of the first things I did was hook up my sound.

Now, I drove the speakers from Winston-Salem NC to Fort Carson CO and I'm sure that something could have happened on the move, but here are the symptoms:

The right front is a huge loss of volume and sounds muffled. The left is clear as day and holds it's volume and clarity just fine. I have an aging receiver, so I hooked up another speaker to that channel and it sounded great, so I know it isn't the receiver. Also, there is sound from every driver in the right, including the tweeter... But they all sound weak and muffled.

What am I looking at here, guys? Oh, it's my RTA 11TL's from the 90's.

? Polk PSW-350

Is the clarity there, just muffled? I mean its not crackling or distorted? Possibly the fill inside got jarred and is right up against the speaker? Just a thought

Thanks; I actually thought about that too and checked it while I was looking to see that no wires had jolted loose.

It just seems like a loss of volume and maybe a little distortion... Like on vocals, if the word is "This", it almost comes out as "Thish"... Which is what I might sound like after drinking a bit. But there is sound coming from every powered driver (2 mids and the tweeter), just not as much as the left and not as... clear.

My wife says it sounds like one speaker is in the room and the other is in the basement. Since she's practically deaf and we don't have a basement, I'm thinking it's something serious.

Welcome back or out or whatever is appropriate...

Did your wire check include pulling the back plate for the speaker binding posts?

Also don't overlook your speaker wire termination for the problem channel.
    More later,
