Hi everyone.

Has anyone found an entertainment console that fits the CS2 Series II center channel speaker?

I'm looking for a console that has that center shelf that will hold my CS2 Series II speaker.

All that I've found can only accommodate an 18" width center channel speaker.

Any suggestions or links would be appreciated.

Thanks.

What kind of budget are you working with? I picked this up from my local Costco around 5 hun or so, came with doors and three sets of door panels, glass, wood and acoustic fabric.

Costco's stands don't have a center wide enough for the CS2 Series II.

My next purchase is going to be from Salamander Design (google them) Think build-it yourself Ikea furniture meets good quality. I'm looking at the Double Quad and removing the center support.

Only setback? It's like $1700 bucks with all the accessories I want.

Actually, the stand I have was purchased from Costco and my center is a CS2 SII. I purchased the cabinet about three years ago, like most everything at Costco, it comes and goes and sometimes doesn't come around anymore.

The manufacturer is Bayside Furnishings and the picture I provided is the Marino 66" TV console W/Swinging floater.

It's a real nice piece of furniture, the ends open up for even more storage, enough room on each end to have three shelves of Bluray/DVD or what ever.

It's huge, the TV you see is my 50" plasma.

Maybe i'm overlooking something obviously simple - but I believe post 2 is his picture that he's quoted on a few times...

While that cabinet in post 2 looks sweet, it appears to be missing some good ventilation. Maybe it's hidden behind the gear, but if your looking to adding amps or other warmer running gear, ventilation should be a top priority.

That's a good point Tony, hence the removal of the doors. The rear has four (two upper, two lower) cable routing vents measuring 12" x 2". While this is adequate for 5 thousand cables, it doesn't do much for overall ventilation.

The front doors have three possible insets as mentioned in earlier post. For this set up, I chose the acoustic fabric so I could leave the doors closed during movie/music play, I also did audyssey with the speaker grill removed and the fabric door closed.

The resulting sound was great and overall aesthetics were great, all my gear and center channel was hidden BUT, even with two fans I have inside, it wasn't quite enough to get the heat out, so off come the doors.

Note the nice look with the doors (no, not Jim Morrison :-0)
