    Now that is funny! I don't consider him "famous" yet! It's sort of like the "primaries", the News guys have to make "news" so they seize on the "moment", the "novel", etc. Tim is in the right place at the right time for now. And so, he's "news"!

    Speaking of rookies making news this year;
    Look at Cam Newton from Carolina Panthers. If they get a Defense next year, watch out NFL.

    Speaking of football, did you hear about the LSU team bus getting back to town real late. Apparently somebody painted a 50 yard line across the interstate exit.

    One of the guys that works at one of the bars I deliver to, drew a pretty funny picture on their white board. Its an elephant violating a tiger doggy style and the heading says "looks like the Tigers finally scored".

    Tim tebow created a word that is in the official dictionary. That alone makes him famous and a part of history. I don't care what he does in the win loss column. He is fun to watch. He is disgustingly interesting. He's a heisman trophy winner. He's the first guy to assume chuck Norris jokes since chuck Norris. He doesn't put on "future hall of fame" gold jackets two seasons from being borderline third string, and he leaves his sharpies off the field. He didn't tweet about dinners with a sports agent during NCAA elegibility or get free tattooes. He didn't go to hoe bars in pj's with a loaded pee shooter putting a hole in his leg. His mom wasn't driving around in a gold rimmed SUV just to pull into a three walled house. I was raised athiest by my math professor dad but through life discovered the human power of Faith which can and will overcome physical obsticals.
    I want to dislike him. But I won't. I embrace the enthusiasm. It's not for curbing.

    But dagnabit he was a gator. That is by far the only fault I see. He simply went to the wrong school and is trying to make up for it.

    Even without tebow, I'd still be rooting for the broncos to beat the patriots. Won't happen, but if enough people have Faith it could happen.

    Yeah Jim Rome was busting on it yesterday on his show, pretty funny, the media covers to much Tebow and one tires from hearing it, I wish they would just let him play and leave it at that, his performance last week was pretty impressive.

    I have been a Browns fan since I was 3 years old in 1960 sou you will have to excuse my hatred of the Broncos that started during the Elway years.

    I like them overall a bit more these days, and Tebow is cool, but the current Denver 7 / New England 35 score seems about right to me :mrgreen:

    P.S.: I called the New England thing midway into the Green Bay thread in approx week 4.

    Have to agree with that. The Patriots have an AX to grind here. They've bowed out of the playoffs early in recent years and I doubt that Brady likes sharing the spotlight?

    I still see the possibility of a Niners/Giants Championship game and, though the Pats look good tonight the competition is not what they'll be seeing against the Ravens? Don't expect N.E. to make it to the big one. They'll trip up ("Defense"-gotta have some!!).

    Nobody would have beaten New England tonight, that was a monster performance.

    Amazing how such a positive role model like Tebow has all these haters while so many scumbags in the NFL are worshipped. Pretty impressive to think he took over a team that was 1-4 and looking at being a finalist in the Andrew Luck Derby, and found a way to lead them into the playoffs, including beating perennial Super Bowl contender in Pittsburg.

    Call me a hater if you like. I don't really hate him. I'm just tired of hearing how great he is. He's not that great.........he's that lucky! He's lucky Big Ben was playing with an injury last weekend, and couldn't move fast enough to get out of the way of the sacks, like he usually does. Didn't Tebow lose three in a row, before the game last weekend? Tonight, he not only lost, he got stomped! 45 to 10. No miracles tonight.................
