The Opera was not up so I cannot make any comments on it. I also think the potential of the EE is definitely there and I would definitely give it another shot after a tube roll that is for sure.

So,,, again... this would be sooo hard to choose what one without a tube roll. It might also be mood dependant. LOL or how much wine I had in me LOL.

The Emerald Physics CS2 are a darn good speaker as well. Nicely suited for the test. If we were doing this test on my JM Labs, I think we would have had to have ear plugs for the MM LOL. The JM labs I have are bright. That might be why on the JM Labs, the Jolida or the Denon might work out better. The Emerald’s not once at any volume got fatiguing no matter what player we had in there. I think I might need to try a set out for myself.

    good followup, thanks.

Had a great time sharing observations. And it was good to hear your thoughts on my setup. I love my rig but I like to hear other people's take on it, since we all have our own tastes and perspectives. Not a lot of people have experienced Emmies before so I enjoy hearing their response to them.

Also, it's worth noting that EE makes tube rolling easy with the tubes accessible in the back. The jolida you have to remove the cover. No big deal as this is pretty standard, but worth noting.
